At The Brilliant Bond, your confidence matters as much as your jewelry. That’s why we offer a complimentary 30-day return policy on eligible U.S. orders—so you can experience your piece in real life and be certain it’s the perfect bond.
Eligibility & Timeframe
- Returns must be requested within 30 days from the shipment date
- Once your return request is approved, the item must be shipped back within 7 days
- This policy applies to U.S. customers only. International customers should contact Customer Service for assistance
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, all items must:
- Be in original, unworn, and unaltered condition
- Include all original packaging, documentation, and diamond certificates (if applicable)
- Show no signs of wear, damage, or use
Returns missing a lab-grown diamond certificate (when applicable) will be subject to a $100 replacement fee per missing certificate, deducted from the refund.
Items that have been resized, engraved, repaired, or modified by any third party not authorized by The Brilliant Bond are not eligible for return.
Free Return Shipping
Eligible U.S. returns include FREE insured return shipping. Once your return is approved, we will email you a prepaid shipping label along with a Return Authorization Number (RMA).
For security purposes, please do not include words such as jewelry, diamond, or precious anywhere on the exterior of the package.
Returns shipped without an RMA or refused upon delivery will not be accepted.
Refund Methods
Refund to Original Payment Method
Most items may be returned for a full refund to the original form of payment, including:
- Ready-to-ship designs
- Design Your Ring styles
Refunds will be issued after the returned item passes inspection by our Quality Assurance team.
Store Credit Only
The following items are eligible for store credit only:
- High Jewelry pieces
- Special Orders
- Truly Custom designs
If an item is eligible for store credit only, this will be clearly disclosed on the product detail page. Store credit does not expire and may be used toward a future purchase. All Truly Custom purchases remain covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Third-Party Cash Back & Promotional Offers
Orders placed using non-reversible third-party cash-back or statement credit offers (including, but not limited to, credit card rewards, bank promotions, airline or loyalty programs) are not eligible for a refund to the original payment method. These orders may be returned for store credit only.
How to Start a Return
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Contact our Customer Service team through any of the methods listed on our Support page. If your order is eligible, you will receive a prepaid shipping label and Return Authorization Number via email.
Step 2: Prepare Your Package
- Place the jewelry inside its original jewelry box
- Include all original documentation and certificates
- Place the jewelry box inside a secure shipping box
- Insert the return packing slip inside the shipping box
- Seal the box and affix the prepaid shipping label
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Drop off your package at a staffed UPS location. Please retain your UPS receipt as proof of shipment and insurance coverage.
If you choose to ship using a different carrier, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. The Brilliant Bond is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit when using non-approved carriers.
Inspection & Refund Timeline
- Inspection may take up to 7 business days after receipt
- Approved refunds will be issued promptly after inspection
- Credit card refunds may take one full billing cycle to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
Fair Use Policy
To maintain a fair shopping experience for all customers, The Brilliant Bond reserves the right to limit returns or restrict account access in cases of excessive or abusive return activity.
